Frequently Asked Questions

Q

What topics do you cover with an athlete?

A Our Mental Skills Drills cover motivation, self-talk, pre-competition anxiety, working through mental blocks/plateaus, breathing techniques, and many more. Feel free to schedule your free 20-minute discovery call to learn more about how Relentless Mentality can help you be the best athlete you can be!
Q

How much time is involved?

A Each Relentless Athlete Mental Skills Drill is about 20-30 minutes. Each drill will be presented by Coach Amanda over zoom (or in person if preferred) and is meant to be interactive, so may run a little longer during certain topics. There are 8 Mental Skills Drills total to work through together
Q

What are the Relentless Athlete Mental Skills Drills?

A Our Relentless Athlete Mental Skills Drills were created to cover a wide range of topics many athletes face during their time in sport. They are designed to teach you skills that you can use at any point during practice or a game to help with focus and better performance.
Q

How much do I have to do after our calls to see a difference?

A Mental skills are like any other skill in sport; the more you practice, the easier they become. Each Skill Drill will cover 1-2 main topics that you can put into practice right away. The program was designed to build upon what you learned in the previous session and should not be too time intensive. Practicing the Mental Skills Drills during practice or games is simple (and no one will know you’re doing it!) but you will have to remind yourself to incorporate them, until they become a habit.
